What do Ceramic Rings do?
Precision Height Tracking: Transmits the capacitive sensor signal—which measures the distance between the nozzle and the sheet metal—without interruption, ensuring the nozzle maintains a constant cutting height without colliding with the sheet.
Thermal and Electrical Insulation: Isolates the high heat and electrical currents generated during cutting from the optical and electronic components of the cutting head.
Mechanical Fuse Protecting the Head: Fractures upon impact if the nozzle hits a warped sheet or part, absorbing the shock and preventing thousands of dollars in body and motor damage to the cutting head.
